Logo and Brand Image Prompt Builder
Build a prompt for Midjourney, Nano Banana, DALL-E or Firefly that produces a logo you could actually brief a designer with. Six questions, no account, nothing stored.
Your prompt
For Midjourney, Nano Banana, DALL-E or Firefly. Treat what comes back as a sketch to brief a designer with, not a finished logo.
What image models get wrong about logos
Ask for a logo and you get an illustration: gradients, depth, tiny detail, sometimes mangled lettering. It looks good at the size it was generated and falls apart at the size a logo is actually used, which is small, flat and often in one colour.
The prompt this builds says so explicitly. Flat vector, no 3D, no shadows, readable at 32 pixels, works in one colour. Those four constraints do most of the work.
Fill in the avoid field
Image models reach for the same few symbols per industry: a leaf for anything organic, a globe for anything international, a swoosh for anything that wants to look modern. Naming them is the fastest way to get something that is not the obvious thing.
Treat the output as a sketch
What comes back is a direction, not a logo. It has no vector file, the lettering is usually wrong, and it is not checked against anybody else’s trademark. Take the one you like to a designer and have it drawn properly — that is what logo design is, and what it costs in India explains the difference between ₹2,000 and ₹25,000.
Can I use an AI logo as my actual logo?
You can, but you get a raster image rather than a vector, the lettering is often subtly wrong, and nobody has checked it against existing trademarks. For a sign, a bill and an app icon you want it redrawn.
Which image model is best for logos?
Midjourney and Firefly handle flat vector styles well. All of them struggle with text inside the mark, which is why the prompt discourages it.
Why four directions instead of one?
Because the first idea is almost always the obvious one. Four distinct directions give you something to react against.
Does it keep what I type?
No. It runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
Want the real thing drawn?
