Terms and conditions

These terms cover the use of this website and the services Dice Codes provides. They apply from 13 September 2026.

in short

The commercial shape, in plain English

A summary of the numbered sections below. Where the two read differently, the numbered clauses are the ones that count.

  1. A quote lists what it includes

Anything not listed is not included. It gets quoted separately rather than absorbed silently or refused later, which is section 03.

  2. A quote stands for 30 days

Unless the quote itself says otherwise. After that the numbers may have moved, usually because third party costs have.

  3. Work starts on written acceptance and a cleared first payment

Fifty per cent of the fixed price is due on acceptance and fifty per cent before launch, the same split the pricing page sets out. Nothing begins on a verbal yes, which protects both sides.

  4. Changes are normal and are priced first

A change that adds work is quoted before it is done, so nothing reaches an invoice that you have not already agreed to.

  5. Invoices are payable within 15 days

Third party costs are billed at cost or paid by you directly. Where you pay directly, the account stays in your name, which is section 05.

  6. The work becomes yours on final payment

The design, the content written for you and the custom code, once the project is paid in full. Third party components keep their own licences, which is section 06.

Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and Dice Codes, of Purrian Mohalla, Batala, Punjab 143505, India. Where we say “we” or “us” we mean Dice Codes. Where we say “you” we mean the person or business using this website or engaging our services.

Quotes and engagement

What a quote covers

A quote lists the deliverables it includes. Anything not listed is not included, and will be quoted separately rather than absorbed silently or refused.

How long a quote stands

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise on the quote itself.

When work starts

Work begins once the quote is accepted in writing and the first payment has cleared. Fifty per cent of the fixed price is invoiced on acceptance and the remaining fifty per cent before launch. Monthly services are invoiced at the start of each month.

Changes to scope

Changes are normal. A change that adds work will be quoted before it is done, so nothing appears on an invoice that you have not agreed to first.

04

What we need from you

Most delays on a project come from waiting rather than from building. We will need content, images, logins and timely feedback at the points set out at the start of the project. If material is outstanding for more than 30 days, we may pause the project and schedule it again when you are ready, which can affect the timeline.

05

Payment

Invoices

Invoices are payable within 15 days of issue unless the quote says otherwise.

Late payment

If an invoice is more than 15 days overdue, work on the project may pause until it is paid.

Third party costs

Hosting, domains, stock imagery, paid plugins and advertising spend are billed at cost or paid by you directly. Where you pay directly, the account stays in your name.

Taxes

Prices exclude GST. Where GST applies, it is added to the invoice at the rate in force on the invoice date.

06

Ownership of the work

Once a project is paid for in full, the design, the content we wrote for you and the custom code built for your project are yours. Third party components keep their own licences: WordPress, its themes and plugins, open source libraries and stock imagery remain governed by the licence they came with. We keep the right to describe and show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.

07

What we can and cannot promise

We will do the work described in the quote to a professional standard, and fix faults in what we built. We cannot promise particular search rankings, particular traffic or particular sales, because those depend on search engines, competitors and markets that nobody controls. Any agency that does promise them is describing an outcome it cannot deliver.

08

Liability

Our liability in connection with any project is limited to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profit, lost data or lost business opportunity.

09

Ending a project

Either of us may end a project in writing. If you end it, work completed up to that point is payable. If we end it, we will refund anything paid for work not yet done. Monthly services can be cancelled with 30 days notice, and your accounts, data and access stay yours.

10

Privacy and data

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

11

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gurdaspur district, Punjab, which includes Batala, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.

12

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force for your project is the one published when your quote was accepted. This version was last updated on 13 September 2026.

Questions about any of this

Ask before you sign rather than after. We would rather explain a clause than argue about it later.
