E-commerce website development for stores that need to be found, not just built.
An online store has two jobs: appear when someone searches for what you sell, and make buying it effortless once they arrive. Most stores fail the first job because category pages are treated as navigation rather than as landing pages, and those categories are where the searchable demand actually is. We build on Shopify or WooCommerce depending on what you sell, configure payments, shipping and GST for India, and ship product and category schema from day one so listings are eligible for rich results.
Which platform should you build on
The first question every store owner asks. There is a real answer and it depends on what you sell, not on which one an agency prefers building.

The short version: if you sell products and want to stop thinking about the platform, Shopify. If you already run WordPress, or you need rules Shopify will not allow, WooCommerce. We will recommend one on the first call and tell you why.
If Shopify is the answer, and for most stores under a few thousand products it is, the build detail, the Indian payment and GST setup and the migration process are on Shopify development.
What is in an e-commerce build
Category pages built as landing pages
This is the one most stores get wrong. Category pages carry the searchable demand, so they need real copy, a heading structure and internal links, not just a product grid and a title.
Payments configured for India
Razorpay, UPI, cards, net banking and cash on delivery where it suits. Tested with real transactions before launch, because a checkout that fails on one bank is a checkout that fails.
Shipping and GST
Zones, rates and free-shipping thresholds. GST configured at the correct rate per product category, with invoices that satisfy an accountant.
Product and category schema
Price, availability, ratings and breadcrumbs, so listings are eligible for rich results. Competitors with schema take clicks from competitors without it at the same ranking position.
Speed under a full catalogue
Tested with your real product count, not with twelve demo items. Most store templates fall apart somewhere between 500 and 5,000 products, which is exactly when it matters.
Analytics that survive ad blockers
GA4 with enhanced e-commerce, plus server-side events for the platforms that need them. Otherwise a quarter of your revenue data quietly disappears.

How a store gets built
Catalogue before design. Deciding the structure after the templates exist means redirects and lost rankings.
-
Catalogue and structure
How many products, how they group, and which of those groups people actually search for. This decides the site structure and it is expensive to change afterwards.
-
Design against real products
Templates built around your actual photography and variants, not a demo store that falls apart when eleven sizes arrive.
-
Build and integrate
Payments, tax, shipping rules and stock, with product data imported and checked rather than assumed.
-
Category pages and the product feed
Collection pages written to answer what people actually search for instead of left as a bare grid, product schema so a listing can carry price and stock, and a Merchant Center feed that validates before launch rather than after the first rejection.
-
Test and launch
Real transactions through every payment method on real devices, with analytics and conversion tracking live before launch.
-
Hand over
Training on adding a product, running a discount and reading the reports. You should never need us to put a product live.
E-commerce questions
How much does an e-commerce website cost in India?
A straightforward store starts from ₹60,000 and takes four to ten weeks. The number moves with catalogue size, how many product variants you carry, whether you need custom checkout rules, and whether we are writing product copy and taking photography.
Can you migrate my existing store?
Yes, and the important part is the URL mapping. Every product and category URL is mapped to its new address before launch so rankings and any existing backlinks survive. Migrations that skip this step are the reason stores lose traffic after a replatform.
Do you write product descriptions?
We can, and for a small catalogue it is usually worth it. For a large one it is rarely economic, so we write the templates and the category copy, which is where the search demand actually is, and you or a copywriter fill in the products.
What about Amazon and Flipkart?
They are a different channel with different rules, and we do not manage marketplace listings. Your own store is still worth having: you keep the customer relationship, the data and the margin, none of which a marketplace gives you.
